Bopomo collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking and no server to send anything to.
What you type
What you type never leaves your device. The keyboard looks words up in a dictionary stored inside the app itself, so there is nothing to send and nowhere to send it. Bopomo does not store a history of what you have typed.
Full Access
iOS asks whether a third-party keyboard may have Full Access, which is the permission that would let it read everything you type and send it over the network. Bopomo never requests it. The setting stays off and the keyboard works completely without it. If a keyboard you use does ask for it, that is worth knowing about.
Network
The keyboard has no network access at all. The app that goes with it does not contact any server either.
Settings
Your choices, such as the language and the key layout, are stored on your own device so the keyboard can read them. They are not shared with anyone.
Purchases
If you buy Bopomo, the payment is handled entirely by Apple. I never see your payment details, and Apple only tells the app whether the purchase exists.
